Guillermo del Toro adaptará 'El Laberinto Del Fauno' a los escenarios

Paul Williams y Gustavo Santaolallo están escribiendo la música y las letras de la versión musical de 'El Laberinto del Fauno', la película de Guillermo Del Toro que dirigió en 2006 y que actualmente adapta junto a Jeremy Ungar en un guión teatral.

Santaolallo ha declarado a la revista Deadline.com que está "encantado de traducir la visión mágica de Guillermo en música y canciones. Llevo tanto tiempo siendo fan de Guillermo y Paul que trabajar con ellos es realmente un sueño hecho realidad."

Junto a Del Toro y Gary Ungar, produce Robert Fox, que cuenta en sus créditos teatrales con títulos como The Boy From Oz, The Pillowman o Gypsy.

El Laberinto del Fauno es la película de 2006 escrita y dirigida por el director mejicano Guillermo Del Toro. Fue producida y distribuída por la compañía Esperanto Fims.

El Laberinto del Fauno está ambientada en España en 1944, cinco años después de la Guerra Civil, en la período Franquista. La narración viaja entre el mundo real y la fantasía alrededor de un misterioso fauno, con el que interactúa la protagonista, Ofelia. 

He was born in Zarzalejo, Madrid (1983). He studied Medicine in Universidad Complutense, and he's always been an avid theater-goer, specially musical theatre. He's attended all the shows he's been able to in Madrid and Barcelona, and from the first time he visited Broadway he wanted to know everything about this world. Soon after he started the first website in spanish dedicated to musical theatre, Palco5.com, along with a great team filled with people who share a great admiration for musicals. From 2007 they've covered all the events, news, and Palco5 has become very well known among the national artists. Working in BWW, letting users from all countries know about spanish scene, is a great joy for him.
