'Los Miserables' se despiden de España

Uno de los mayores éxitos teatrales de los últimos años, el musical Los Miserables, se despide hoy de España tras dos temporadas en Madrid y Barcelona. El BTM de la Ciudad Condal, donde se representa desde septiembre de 2011, acogerá la última función.

Desde su estreno en Madrid en noviembre de 2010, este espectáculo ha recaudado 20 millones de euros y ha sido visto por más de 500.000 espectadores. Además fue el gran triunfador de los Premios BWW Spain 2011, con un total de 11 galardones, entre ellos Mejor Musical del Año.

La compañía de Los Miserables en Barcelona está encabezada por Gerónimo Rauch (Jean Valjean), Ignasi Vidal (Javert), Virginia Carmona (Fantine), Guido Balzaretti (Marius), Talía del Val (Cosette), Lydia Fairen (Eponine), Daniel Diges (Enjolras), Enrique R. del Portal (Sr. Thenardier) y Eva Diago (Sra. Thenardier).

El resto del elenco se completa con Víctor Díaz, Paco Arrojo, David Ordinas, Jordi Grifell, Álvaro Puertas, Xavi Duch, Victor Arbelo, Edgar Martínez, Marcos Pérez, Benjamí Conesa, David Velardo, Lorena Calero, Adriana Vaquero, Malia Conde, Queralt Albinyana, Elena Medina, Raquel Arcos, Xènia García, Júlia Jové, Ángel Saavedra, Lourdes Fabres, María José Lucas Martínez, Gonzalo Alcaín y Santiago Cano. Los niños que interpretan los papeles infantiles son Bruno Petra, Eric Yanguas, Guillen Martí, Aina Quiñones, Clara Casado, Emma Roca, Lua Amat, Emma Cera y Natalia Roca.

Los Miserables se estrenó en el Barcelona Teatre Musical en septiembre de 2011, tras su gran éxito en el Teatro Lope De Vega de Madrid la temporada anterior. Pronto se convirtió en el espectáculo  número uno en la capital catalana, con casi 10.000 espectadores semanales en sus funciones de miércoles a domingo.

Este nuevo montaje fue concebido originalmente con motivo del 25 aniversario del musical por Lawrence Connor y James Powell, celebrando así el cuarto de siglo de su estreno con una gira por diversas ciudades de Gran Bretaña, el Théâtre du Châtelet de París, y finalmente el Barbican de Londres.

Visto por más de 56 millones de personas en todo el mundo y representado en 42 países distintos, este musical sigue siendo el más popular y longevo de la historia.
